Adding effects or editing images can be expensive if you need software like PhotoShop. There are free alternatives to costly photo software. One image editing program available to download free is Tintii.
Go to a website such as PC World and find Tintii in the download section. Tintii takes a color photo and separates it into three major hues. It gives pictures the type of look reminiscent of the movie Sin City.
Once you have selected an image that you want to change its color effect just click on it. Then you will see the image in a big screen in black and white. If you want, you can choose to save the image in the black and white format.
On the right of the black and white image there will be three smaller boxes showing the image in different hues. You can start to layer the image with different hues until you achieve the desired effect you are looking for then save the image.
